The MPCA will host a virtual public meeting on the boat wrap stewardship law and draft stewardship plan submitted by the stewardship organization Commercial and Industrial Flexible Film Recycling Organization (CIFFRO). The meeting will include short presentations on the law and the draft stewardship plan, time for questions and answers, and an opportunity for participants to provide comments on the draft plan. Representatives of the stewardship organization CIFFRO will be present and available to answer questions as appropriate.
The MPCA encourages interested parties to review the materials posted on the public comment page in advance of the meeting:
- the boat wrap stewardship law
- the draft boat wrap stewardship plan
- the summary table of the timeline and major activities required under the law
The MPCA also encourages interested parties to submit written comments through the public comment page by May 15, 2025, regardless of their participation in the May 6 Webex public meeting.
